Picking the correct dosage for you
Getting the Dosage Right is the Most Important Part of Using CBD Oil
Selecting the correct dosage for your particular issue is the most important part of using CBD Oil. The dosage will be based on your body weight and the severity of your condition.
The table to the right has the dosages listed. Also in the table you can see the amount of CBD contained in each dropper of our CBD oil based on the strength of the oil as listed on the bottle.
Understanding the Amount of CBD in the Bottle
One of the keys to understanding how to dose CBD is to understand what is in the bottle. When you purchase a bottle of Total CBD Oil the bottle contains one ounce of product. The label designates how much CBD oil is contained in the bottle. For instance, if the label designates the bottle as a 750 mg bottle, that means within the 1 oz of product there is 750 mg of actual CBD. Each bottle also had a dropper that holds 1 ml of product. In each bottle of 1 oz of product there are 30 1 ml droppers. So, for the 750 mg bottle, each dropper full contains 25 mg of CBD (750 ml/ 30)
How to take cbd oil
The best way to take CBD Oil is to allow your body to absorb it sublingually. So place the appropriate amount under your tongue and leave it there for 90 seconds to 2 minutes. Then swish it around and swallow it. This will allow for quick maximum absorption into your blood system.
After you swallow the CBD oil you can resume your normal eating and drinking habits. There is no need to refrain from eating or drinking.
500 MG full spectrum CBD Oil
Total CBD offers three versions of our popular 500 MG CBD Oil. All are mint flavored. One is a full spectrum CBD oil product and may contain up to 0.3% THC. Then second is the full spectrum CBD oil product infused with melatonin. This is a perfect product for a consumer who needs a little more help falling asleep and staying asleep.
The third version is a CBD isolate that is completely THC free. This is the ideal product for users who must stay free of any THC.

For our customers who use CBD oil on a regular basis, the 1500 MG strength has become one of the favorites. This is because the cost per MG of CBD is lower in this product than the lower concentrations. So the bottle will last 2 or 3 times as long for a given daily dosage than the 750 MG or 500 MG concentrations.

Calculating the dosage for your pet is done by your pet's weight.
- For a Mild Condition, use 0.05 MG per pound pet weight
- For a Moderate Condition, use 0125 MG per pound pet weight
- For a Severe Condition, use 0.25 MG per pound pet weight
Example: A 16 lb pet with moderate ailments should take 2 mg (1/4 dropper) daily (0.125 * 16 = 2).
